Bob but known as Rob. Good black and white illustrations in Bugantics in 1939. Lived in Australia, and according to his book never travelled outside the country but contributed to UK publications and work seen in UK auctions. Colour work is very thin wash in bright colours somewhat secondary to the pen and ink drawing. Signed his work R Shepherd with underline and long twirls on tails of R's
