In March 2018 there appeared in auction at Mallams in Cheltenham a small archive of the works of Victor Hammond. The following career details were given in the catalogue.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Victor Hammond was the Chief Designer, Interiors, for Austin Morris. He also worked as a Designer for the following: 1940/1950s - Standard Motor Company, Coventry (designed the Standard 8) 1960/1961 - Volvo, Gothenburg, Sweden (designed the Volvo P1800 as seen in the Saint) 1960/1970s - Ford Motor Company, Dagenham, Essex (designed D series truck/bus) 1980s - Self-employed Designer (projects included an armoured truck). Exhibited at Chelsea Barracks, London
