Elcock Howard Keppie

Front cover design for The Autocar magazine 17th February 1928 advertising Morris cars. According to the Conan Doyle website referenced below Howard K. Elcock was a British illustrator. He worked for The Strand Magazine, Illustrated London News and Punch. He also designed posters for the Underground Group between 1928 and 1931, and also posters for Shell and the LNER (London & North Eastern Railway) during the 1920s. Between 1919 and 1926, he did 50+ illustrations for Arthur Conan Doyle's works.
