Important and prolific illustrator around the turn and early part of the 20th century. Principally worked with pen and ink but also did some coloured art. His art is best where he is doing composite views to a page. Did all types of illustration working for such publications as Illustrated London News and The Graphic. Had two other brothers Dudley and Reginald, both artists in a similar style.
