Bowen Cole

Year working: Working 1930’s?

In Bonhams March 2011 Automobilia sale there was a scrapbook of printed cartoons the majority by SCH (Sammy) Davis but also several by Cole Bowen.The only applicable reference I can find to Cole Bowen (1904 – 1976) is a reference in Artefacts of a South African architect and artist who had some connections with the UK. Is this the same person? Also where were the cartoons printed? Assume the SCH Davies cartoons were from The Autocar and those of Bowen were similar printing and paper.
