Bryan Apps, a retired vicar from Bournemouth says he has completed more than 200 paintings. He specialises in donating his paintings to famous people such as drivers, circuit owners and team leaders. This has resulted in many contacts and letters from such people. He has been able to use the correspondence to publish several books on motoring and racing. These are a combination of history, quotes from letters and illustrated by his own art.
